The organization was founded by NANA SETH KARIKARI MENSAH and COLBY MARIE ROBINSONwith the aim of helping the needy and changing the lives of others forever. Their interest in volunteering and exchange programs developed to such an extent that they established PYVO, an independent Kumasi based communal organization, linking volunteers and groups of  students from across the world to live and work in Ghana.

The organization offers the opportunity to live and work with the people of Ghana for a true cross-cultural experience while learning different perspectives of life, family, nature, religion etc.  The organization works together very closely with the Volunteers. Once in Ghana our group and host families will provide you with all the assistance and support needed.  These are communities with many needs; therefore, there are many opportunities to choose from including a diverse range of voluntary projects in your 1-3 months.
